Crazy Ant(Paratrechina longicornis)
These ants will feed on sweets and kitchen scraps, but prefer
to feed on animal matter and insects such as fly larvae and
adults. Ants present the appearance of running aimlessly
about a room, and thus, named "crazy." Workers
are about 1/10 inch long, with slender long legs, dark brown
to black in color, one node petiole, the profile of the thorax
not evenly rounded and the abdomen tip has a circular fringe
of hairs. |
